Red Bull Cars 342

This is a Mini-Cooper made by BMW, it is part of the Red Bull Student Marketing Programme. They have 34 of these around the UK, driven by University students. Of which I am one. I do not own the car, it is owned by Red Bull, essentially it is a company car. And yes, it does have a giant Red Bull can on the back at a 45 degree angle. Of the 34 around the UK, some are VW Beetles.

I’m assuming that they are running similar programmes around the states and australia too. The only way to drive one of these is to enter the Red Bull Student Marketing Programme.


Now how about that? A cute car (someone please tell me the model) with a pseudo-can of Red Bull rigged on top of the trunk, ready to fire a stream of energy saturated drink into the mentally taxed minds of Michigan students.

Peering through the passenger window, there were enough crates of Red Bull for a national Olympic team. Top it off with that trademark thrashing bull on the sides of the car, and paint sprayed in the colors of silver & blue, and there we have the Red Bull Car.

It was parked on E. Liberty, where visitors celebrating St. Patrick’s Day even found the Red Bull Car amusing and started snapping their camera shutters. Ann Arbor may not be the funkiest of cities, but these surprise packages on a normal sunny day can really make this place alive.Red Bull Cars

Honda Access America, Inc., Honda's U.S. accessory development team designed and built the HF-S Concept to demonstrate how the customized use of technology could allow vehicle owners to fine-tune performance while adding their own senses of style. Key exterior and conceptual powertrain modifications represent functional performance and driving-experience enhancements.



Unique LED driving lights, placed on the fore-most corners, wrap around the front of the bumper providing increased visibility both forward and side for the driver while also creating a unique appearance. The shape of the front bumper is designed to create a vortex effect to enhance high-speed aerodynamics and engine cooling. On the sides of the vehicle, the shape of the carbon fiber panels decreases negative speed force around the wheel arches. The rear bumper diffuser is designed to reduce drag. The trunk spoiler is a prototype design engineered for high-speed down-force. The metallic color of the exterior is accented by Cadmium Orange Pearl - a color derived from super-heated metal. The use of this color for the brake calipers, badges, grille accent, and interior details underscores the vehicle's high-performance appearance.



Key to the concept is the use of technology to electronically customize throttle response, suspension settings, steering boost, and traction involvement to the driver's taste. Additionally, the exhaust is a two-stage design. The VW Bluesport Roadster may only be a concept, but it's sure to pique the interest of drivers looking for top-down fun and diesel power on the same chassis.

As we mentioned last night, the Volkswagen Bluesport concept is powered by a 180 HP turbodiesel motor mounted amidship. Despite its concept status, VW is promising fairly realistic performance. This includes a 0-60 MPH time of 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 140 MPH. Though not Prius-killing, the 42 MPG combined mileage (we're guessing in the European cycle) is impressive for a sports car and would surely top any known competito

Tomorrow Never Dies has an excellent scene with a BMW 750iL. Bond uses the car to escape the bad guys in a chase sequence inside a multi-story car park. The nice thing about this car is that the writers obviously realised that a German car for an English gentleman was not perhaps the greatest marketing choice. They were, however, stuck with it, having signed a three-movie deal, and decided to play on the "Germanity" of the car. The 750iL features a female computer voice with a very German mannerism.

just a heads up, even though most of these cars have similar trates there are different scenes. vip has japanese roots from the 90s, euro is really just based on make but has a distinct style, and hellaflush/stanced is a relatively new label that can be either one of the other but is too loose to automatically be interchangable both ways (i.e. a vip car can be called hellaflush, but every hellaflush car isn't vip). some of us take it seriously just like some of y'all take y'alls lowriders seriously.japanese style cars

Ultimate Aero, the car produced by Shelby SuperCars was World’s Fastest Production Car last year and in 2009 they are going to release an improved version of this ride. The 2009 Ultima Aero has a 15% increase in horsepower, a new front face design and a lot of interior upgrades. Probably the most important modification is an engine block designed by the guys from Shelby SuperCars which will improve the structural integrity and oiling capabilities allowing this car to deliver an amazing 1287 HP while improving durability. With this incredible engine the car should reach a record world speed of 434 km/h and will push the super car limits even higher.
MODIFICATION CAR
The car’s nose was redesigned with better aerodynamics to handle better at high speeds and this Ultimate Aero also received carbon fiber louvers on the side intakes to improve cooling. This car will probably widen the big gap between the Ultimate Aero and its competitors. The new model has a special Aerobrake system which makes the rear spoilrs actuate up with 8″ when the brake pedal is pressed. This could be disabled by the push of a button when the owner will drive it slowly but it’s highly recommended to use it at high speeds.

The 2009 SSC Ultimate Aero has a redesigned dash with new dash valves from carbon fiber and inset air vents. It also has carbon fiber insertions on the doors and around the new gauges.
